MIXER TAP — what it is and where it's used

A plastic mixer tap is a faucet made from polymer material. Unlike metal taps, it doesn't rust, is lightweight and inexpensive, so it is widely used in mass housing construction, apartment buildings, public buildings and building-supply markets.

Available in kitchen (long spout) and bathroom (short spout, with shower outlet) variants. Can have a single-lever design mixing cold and hot water, or a two-valve design.
